I've a Sony VAIO.. Extreme performance, great stability and great features.. so I'll go with Sony..

for me I want dell, but if we are talking about the price try to look at the prices in shopping and computer sites selling pc's sony is the highest and the most expensive brand. Like the sony vaio :). Toshiba is good in specs too.

I say a Hp or a gateway. I have a dell and it has tore up 3 times since 2002.

For me, the best brand is DELL. their computer realible and also have excellent customer support, so you know who to call if you got problem with your computer.

you should consider assemnling your own computer, it costs you half the showroom price
