MY daughter had an eczema outbreak when she was 10 months old- so I did research and figured out this is what it was & my Dr. also agreed and diagnosed her with this type of eczema. It looks like ringworm in one of the stages. This type of eczema is common in the elderly men--but some say it's very common in children. Also, my daugther's went into Staph infections both time's she got it-- and she never scratched the area so I don't know how it was getting in.I was just wondering if anyone else's child had this? If so, did your child's go into a Staph infection?

My son is 2 years old and was born with eczema. About a year ago he got a staph infection. He is still on daily medication to keep it from colonizing, turning into bumps that itch and crap comes out, yuck. You have staph on your skin all over your body. When you get a cut or scrape some of those staph cells get into the wound. My son has the MRSA kind. We don't know how he got it but my husband had it too. There is no cure for it. He is on an oral antibiotic and has to take it daily or if I miss even 2 days he will break out.
