needs cure for goiter... any advice?

i am diagnosed last year for goiter. my doctor says i need an intake of oidine. So i have to use iodized salt on daily basis. i also have a medicine named Euthyrox intake once a day. I had thyroid panel and the result says its not cancerous..it's only colloid and it will be gone in the two years. i already took euthyrox for a year now and it's still there. At times my voice is not normal like before... is singing could worsen the goiter? And to think i sing a lot and i am a teacher by profession so i really need my voice. please do advice me... what is the best thing to do ... operation would be the last thing i would do and i wouldn't want to undergo such if there is still other options.
