really its very sad to listen why people are so harsh towards those handicapped. its not their mistake.its the god's we should be harsh towards them instead we have to love them and have beside them.we must give support to them to lead the life successfully. we should be kind hearted.make them to forget all the difficulties they faced.

Speaking as a handicapped person and a spokesperson for various handicap groups, we'd really rather people didn't make a big deal out of it or try to offer us support. We don't like people thinking we *need* it, because we don't. The difficulties we face make us who we are and we don't want to forget them. We don't need to be treated any differently than anyone else.

There will always be people who make fun of the handicapped. It's a fact of life. And we handicapped people are pretty tough. Most of us don't let the stupid people bother us. One thing about disabilities - they toughen a person up better than anything else. I'm a much stronger person now than I ever was, and I talk with fellow disabled people every day who say the same thing. So don't worry about it too much. :D
