The Collector TV Series. Why did Foxtel in Australia take it off?

I just started getting into The Collector when Poof, Foxtel took it off. It hadnt even been on that long. Is there anyone else out there that likes this show? I realy got into the first episode, enjoyed quite a few more of them, but found they dragged and were realy boring in others. And why did the producers replace Maya? I thought the original Maya was a better actor for the part, not a blonde bimbo.
