What's your view on abortion?

I am personally against any form of cruelty to living things/persons. Abortion is, for me, inhuman and goes against the concept of life. What's your take on this issue?

I'm not against. If there is no way to breed the child, give it good conditions and life there is no way out of abortion. If the girl is too young she has to do it!

I have to disagree that there is no way out. You would be too young to know about orphanages which cared for pregnant young girls and secured loving, secure homes for the adopted babies. There are so many childless couples who would give anything to be able to adopt a child, but nowadays those babies are murdered before they are born, and the childless couples remain childless.

There are still homes for 'unwed mothers' today. There are 100s of thousands of babies & children already in the foster/adoption systems worldwide. There is no reason for a couple to be childless unless they are unwilling to adopt outside of their race, or unwilling to adopt a special needs or older child. Quite honestly, if the 'desperate yet wonderful childless couple' can't open their hearts that much, perhaps nature was right in making them infertile.

To put it quite bluntly, I believe abortion is murder. Doctors have taken an oath to preserve life and have always held this in very high regard. The development of life has not changed. While some argue that life doesn't begin until a baby is actually born, medical evidence denies this. Xrays, even at the earliest stages, show there is life. Admittedly that life isn't viable outside the mother's womb, but it IS life, and unless interrupted will develop fully into a healthy baby. Abortion is murder and should not be tolerated in any circumstances. While this is another subject, it is related. Years ago, childless couples were able to adopt a healthy baby and give it a good home. Now these couples are denied the joys of parenthood, because the babies are killed. Where will this taking of life end? Now people are crying for murder at the other end of life: euthanasia. People today call for all sorts of rights. It seems that whatever happens, "rights" can be called on. Well, I call on a baby's right to life.
