What is the real value of education

here in my country, educational attainment is the biggest pressure for somebody especially if he or she is financialy capable. almost all of the parents today have been hipnotized by the fact that a good education is equal to the best future. I believe that education is not the biggest factor that a person should have if he wants to survive out there.. whatever it is, it depends on a person to make it on his own.
