I have 3 preteens, 2 girls and a Boy, the girls are into the boy's really big, but the Boy could really careless about girls, he would rather climb the trees still. At what age is it ok for them to Date? Should they ever be allowed to a party, or the movies when there are Boy's and Girls?

I have two grown sons... one 18 and one 25... and to be quite honest with you that is one question to which I have never given much thought.
They both started dating when they themselves were ready to take on that responsibility... and their particular age at the time just never became an issue.

I think this depends on the kids, the area you live etc. And to be honest if when i was a teenager is anything to go by, if they are gonna date they will do it with or without consent. As to letting them to parties and movies etc I have adopted an introduce it gradually attitude. A little bit of freedom at a time, rather than all in one go.

well my grandma raised me and i was 16 before i could start dating. my mom is raising my other 3 sisters and they have to wait until they are 18 to start dating. my sister who is 16 has a guy friend but he is in college in another state. my mom thinks it's ok because she has known the guy since he was small. he's going to a christian college and he's a really nice guy. she was just able to talk to him on the phone last week. they've been talking at church and the internet for 6 months. i think 16 is a good age to let them date. i was never allowed to go to a party if there was boys unless my grandma knew them and knew the family having the party. i went to 1 party like this in my life. the movies i think is ok as long as they are responsible kids.

In the goold old days, people start dating at the age of 17-18, but these days its all diffrent. maybe we just should allow them to date even they are still at young age such as 14-15. I dont know, my friend's brother is actually dating someone at the age of 12 but I saw them just act just like friend and nothing is diffrent and its just status, cause they do not know the meaning of relationship.
