Do you believe in penfriendship and had it lasted for more than one year? I have a male penfriend with whom I am continuing since 1989.

When I was in college, I used to have pen friends in East Germany (GDR) now United, Bulgaria and Czekoslovakia. Now I have become busy professionally, I do not find time for all these.

I believe in penfriendship. Though I have no pen friend yet. It is really nice you have a pen friend from 1989.

Well, that is just a long time. I had a penpal when I was in middle school, but I lost touch with her when I went to college.

i had tons of penpals in one point of my life, when we first got the internet back when i was in high school. but then we stopped keeping in touch, maybe due to our busy lives and such. now i still keep in touch via email whenever i can, with a few friends that i know from the net when i was still studying.
