What do you think of Resident Evil 4?

For me, Resident Evil 4 is the best R.E. has ever made, but the only thing that has gone in a Resident Evil Formula is the Scaryness, don't you think? Resident Evil 4 is not scary at all, it is more on action. I think they did this because the developers want a newer style of gameplay to Resident Evil series. I think, more or less Resident Evil 5 will be somehow or will be Identical to Resdient Evil 4.

Its a nice game. But it doesnt have zombies now, and that kinda was a step back...In PC the graphics were excellent, the requirements to play were low, the action is fast and there is also enough horror and scariness i think. Its just that it cant compare with the feeling i had when i guided Leon through the empty police station, or when i fought nemesis at RE3

Hello dear tidus1305 pleased to meet you! So really the Re4 is the best game of the series. Very action and wonderful graphics. But you is right! This game is has a different atmosphere. Since the Resident 1 was pure horror... Now i wait the Re5 . Like all players are waiting...

By the way, Has anyone of you already acquired and used these secret weapons with infinite ammo? - Chicago Typewriter - P.R.L. 412 - Infinite Launcher Whenever I'm using these weapons, Oh man! Any ganados' and most bosses wouldn't even stand a chance, especially the P.R.L. 412 - since this weapon instantly kills any Las Plagas parasites.

Well, I think res 4 is one of the best hames ever made! I thought it was the end four times but it just continued. About the scaryness I think it depends on who's playing, my girlfriennd was realy scared when she played it! haha.

Yeah, maybe the series will be compared to Ian Fleming's 007 series. I doesn't end. Same as mine, my girlfriend was scared at the Ganados that was running towards Leon. haha

Yeah I agree with you! I think RE2 and RE3 is much more scarier than RE4. But I think that's ok! I've already finished the game and all in all, it was a nice game experience! But I must admit that I really miss the zombies and mind-blowing puzzle solving I've encountered in RE2 and RE3. There's not much of puzzle-solvings in RE4. Anyways, let's now move on to the new Resident Evil 5 that will be released for PS3 soon. I've already watched the trailer in YouTube and I was really amazed by the improvement of graphics! I really can't wait for this amazing game to come out. - Ron Reyes www.ronreyes.co.nr

You're right, the zombies were the things that really defined the Resident Evil series then. But the creators wanted to have a newer plot, because some fans were kinda' sickened on the zombie thing and was wondering if the creators was running out of idea. RE4 however change it all, it has more action and less puzzle solving. I have to admit it too that I really missed the old RE formula that we used to play. The trailer of RE5 was really jaw-dropping. It has more enemies than RE4, and maybe, more aggressive enemy A.I.

Compared to the older Resident Evil games, it does have better graphics. But w/o the zombies, it didn't really feel like Resident Evil to me. D:

Yes, I think Resident evil is nothing without those zombies. But even so, RE4 is a must have game.

I agree with you. I was never scare the whole time playing the game, but it was definitely fun. The graphics was very nice also. Too bad the game did not have any twist in it. The enemy could run making it challenging, but it seems like the easiest Resident Evil game I ever played. I can't wait until Resident Evil 5 comes out.

I totally agree. I can't forget the first time I played this game... There are so many heart-stopping sequences in this game that really requires the player's quick reflexes in button-presses. - like the event when a large boulder is chasing Leon. - and the one-on-one battle with Krauser - not to mention the surprise attacks of Salazar's Right Hand. - and many more...

lol that game totally freaked me out! I panicked really bad when those chainsaw people came running at me. I still prefer zombies, but maybe the creators of the game thought the zombies were getting a bit old and decided on something new. I know the granaldo's were a lot harder to kill because the headshots didn't do much good because the enemies still came at you.
