HOW IS ELECTRICITY PRODUCED & SUPPLIED IN YOUR STATE?

In Karnataka, power supply is through hydro-power stations & thermal stations. InSouth India, some thermal powerstations are there. What other types of power generations are there in your state?

In West Bengal there are different ways of supplying electricity. As far as I know in West Bengal coal or diesel is used to generate electricity. I have no idea whether I am right or not but that's what I think is used to generate electricity in West Bengal.

I am aware of the fact that West Bengal and Bihar have asia's biggest coal deposits and they can run coal fired power stations. Nuclear power driven electricity generation, atomic plants, Hydro electric are some of the most important means of generation electricity. Asia's oldest electricity power generating station is 140 km from Bangalore. It is called Sharavathi Hydro Electric Power station. The Place is called SHIMSHA There is very famous water fall is here.
