Technology and culture

I write to say the influence of technology in the culture of my race. A lot of our olden day instruments are being replaced by hitech instruments. However there instruments do not produce and can not produce some peculiar sounds made by these old equipment. This in continual and if care is not taken we may loose these equipment to technology. I do not know how many countries that are loosing some unique part of their culture to technology. I feel the impact already.

Yes I think things are moving a little too fast but sometimes with new technology it can make the older thing more precious and valuable, as in the music industry, it is still some of the old instruments that are now getting played again, like the mandolin and what I like is that people are starting to play records again, record players are once again being sold...so there is always room for the old and new.
