Do you check your unresolved discussions?

I've noticed there are many discussions without a marked best response. There is an easy way to check on this. Under the category DISCUSSIONS, click on the word MORE to see more choices. One of the choices is "my unresolved discussions". Click on that. Every discussion you have started without a marked best response will be listed for you. MyLot thinks of almost everything! Have you checked your unresolved discussions?

i check my unresolved discussions twice a week, but still there's some topics that only had 1 or 2 response and it's very inadequate for me. so i just leave them unresolved. ussualy when there's no more messages coming for several days, then im choosing the best response for that topic.

It would seem to me that if there is only one response that is the best response. I would mark it so, unless it just awful.

Thanks! I never realized that feature was present. I am still learning even though I have been a member for almost a month. I was going back through my discussions the hard way and very haphazardly! This will enable me to better resolve my discussions. I do try to mark a best response to each discussion I post and I ALWAYS rate positive and negative responses. Thanks again!

I like your username, though I don't know if I want to be a patient of yours! Glad to be of a help. I like to see my discussions resolved, too.

wow. Thanks for highlighting that. I did not know this feature existed. Will really help instead of doing it the way I do now which is open up every discussion and check! Going there right now! About marking best responses, I agree with you that it should be after everyone has a fair chance to respond, but I have found some people who are real enthusiastic and continue to post even after I have marked out the best response, I do like that and it shows they are interested in the topic (or scoring :) and being marked best is not as important as it is to me!

G'day mate, I must admit, I haven't been here for a while, and have come to check on my mates. I noticed that there are still some religious discussions happening red, I'll point them in the right place. Kev.

I check mine once every two weeks. I try to give my discussions a week or so to die down before I pick the best response. To give everyone a fair shot at it. Sometimes I forget, so about every two weeks I have to check and see if there are any still unresolved. I have two I think that have no posts, so they just keep setting there. I feel sorry for them, they are so lonely and unloved, LOL.

Actually, I'm just getting around to working on this. I don't have many postings and they don't usually get a lot of response but it still takes awhile to weed through them. I don't know how some people get it done. I have noticed that a lot of people give the best response in the first few hours to one of the first responders. It seems almost as though they've grown quickly bored with their own discussions. I understand it's easier that way but is it fair? Some answers take a lot of thought and don't come right away and I want to be fair so I think I'll probably always wait a week or at least a few days.

It is easy now to check the unresolved discussions, as it is shown on the left. I go to that option very often and try to mark my best responses. That actually increases the possibility of having more friends. I have started here just four weeks back, so some of my discussions are not yet resolved. Some need to get more responses, and for some I am just waiting for something really good.

Hi red, I usually wait and see what the imput is like as well before I nominate The Best Response key! As I have seen in a lot of discussions the best response is given and a little later on someone else puts in a corker!! But handy to Know about the feature and I hope they rectify the error in the continuing pages aspect!
