Healthy Candy

Ok, so I am trying to lose weight. I don't want to do a diet. I just want to make changes that I know I can continue with for the rest of my life...drinking water, exercise, eating more fruit/veggies. I love chocolate! I am cutting back on that. Are there any type of candies that are better than others? I do love my snickers bar :(

I know that it is not candy but it can be oh so good, and also have healthy fats in them... NUTS!!! I love them and I could replace them for atleast some candy, and there is such a variety of them as well!

Diets Suck - Come over to the darkside, we have cookies. Diets are too hard and being too strict sets you up for failure
The more I think about food the more I want it. I would recommend maybe cutting the Snickers Bar in 1/2 or even into 1/4 and have a treat. Other wise you may just end up craving so bad that you'll eat more than 1. If you are making positvie changes else where I don't see the harm in a bit of chocolate. If you are too hard on yourself, and this happens to me as well, I just bomb and the diet is over.

Try to eat dry fruits. Very good for your health. Or nuts covered by dark chocolade.

I bought some candy yesterday. It is sugar free but it's really pretty good. I don't like much sugar free candy but this doesn't taste like the others. It is Baskin Robbins Sour Sherbert sugar free hard candy. Don't deprive yourself of stuff. Just do like we are doing and watch your portion sizes, drink lots of water, and exercise. You can still have a candy bar but get the mini sized ones and don't eat a bunch of them at one time. I know it's hard with snickers because I love them too.

Dark chocolate, though not as tasty, is the best variant of chocolate to eat for those that are health-concious.
