Dirty Dancing is such an awesome movie and it's still one of my favorites even though it's fairly old. I would have to say that my favorite song on the movie is "I've had the Time of my Life" (this is the song that was played at the final dance). I thought that this song really summed up the movie and the things that "Baby" and "Johnny" went through.

My favorites are "I had the time of my life" and "Hungry Eyes". This is undoubtedly the best soundtrack and video made.

I like the music from titanic and from brave heart. I like Enya, she has a lot of soundtracks.

My favorite soundtrack off a movie is certainly the one of "When Harry met Sally", a classic romantic movie from 1989 featuring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. What I really like about this soundtrack is that it contains both bouncy jazzy songs and a handful of ballads, really worth checking.

My fave is She's like the Wind and Don't You Feel Like Crying (the song when Baby goes to Johnny's room after they have done the dance at the hotel). Love the whole soundtrack but these are my faves.

From which movie? Or do you mean from a movie--meaning any movie at all? I like "They Call the Wind Mariah" from "Paint Your Wagon", a movie that came out over 35 years ago. Another one Ilike from the same era is from "Love Story", "Love means You Never have to Say You're Sorry". The sentiment is totally wrong. In a good love relationship, you had better say you're sorry when you've been wrong. However, the song is charming. Some 15 years later, there was a cute Disney (I think) movie about a Jewish mouse and his family who fled the pogroms of Europe for the freedom of America. When he fell overboard (from the ship) and was separated from his family, he and his sister, separately, look at the moon and sing "Somewhere out there, beneath the pale moonlight, Somewhere, thinking of me..." Lovely!

This movie has such a great soundtrack, it's hard to pick just one. Aside from the obvious "big" songs from the movie, my favorite is "Cry to Me" - it's just such a heartfelt song, you can really feel it. Second would have to be "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" - not because it's such a great song, I just have a really fun memory (auditioning for a school play with two good friends) that pops up whenever I hear it. :)

'Dirty Dancing' is one of my absolute favorite movies that I grew up with as a kid! I must admit that.. I have a few favorite songs from the movie 'Dirty Dancing' so I cannot just name one.. But I have to name a few actually. "She's Like The Wind" - I have to agree. 'She's like the wind' is a rather breathtakingly beautiful song. I as well really loved that Patrick Swayze decided to do a song for the soundtrack. As I just love this song. I find it goes so well with the scene from the movie as well. I love how when he is about to leave baby that song begins to play.. And how it shows how baby's life just isn't the same with Johnny right beside her. I love the lyrics as well, & I love the sound of Patrick Swayze's voice at the same time. I never knew he had such an amazing singing voice like he had until I hear him sing this song in all honesty. Another song that I must admit that I consider to be one of my favorite songs from the movie would have to be.. "Hungry Eyes." I think the song was played at the right scene as you can see the attraction forming between both Johnny, as well as baby. I love how when every time I listen to this song on my computer or even within my room how.. I can picture the scene from the movie, in which Johnny is working on helping to teach baby how to dance.. In preparation for there first show of the two of them dancing together. I always think of how that is the first time you can see the attraction building between the two. Just thinking about it actually gives me shivers down my spine to this very day! And of course one of the songs from the soundtrack would of course have to be the famous.. "I've Had The Time Of My Life." I find this song will forever be associated with 'Dirty Dancing.' I think this song is absolutely magnificent & I love how the two singers voices blend in so well together. I also love how every time this song plays when I am listening to it I can't help but visualize the moment where.. Johnny & Baby do share some electricifying dancing together. I know that when I get married someday down the road that I want this song to be played at my wedding. As I think this song would be a beautiful one to have playing because the person whom I marry.. Which may indeed be my other half someday down the road.. Will be the person who did indeed give me 'the time of my life.' I also love the song "Do You Love Me." I love how this song is playing & everyone is enjoying themselves dancing. It's nice to see everyone dance all together.. I also quite honestly love the song "Love Man" as well. I love how Patrick Swayze goes dancing up to baby & moves his fingers for her to come closer to dance with him. And how he tries to teach her how to dance to this specific song. I love how he was willing to give her a chance to see if she could dance.. I love the whole entire soundtrack. As I find listening to several songs make you want to get up & dance just like the people in the movie are dancing. I'd love to learn some of the dances that they had shown throughout the movie. And I love how each song on the soundtrack helps to provoke emotion. In conclusion.. Every time I listen to this soundtrack in general I find each song helps me to visualize each scene that may be going on in the movie.. I find each song helps one to feel every emotion that a human-being can possibly experience.. I honestly love this soundtrack.. And even though I had named a few of my favorite songs from the soundtrack, as well as the movie.. It's difficult to choose which one I like more than the other.. As each song helps me to remember how when I was a kid.. I would sit on the couch watching this movie over & over.. Wishing that I was baby.. This soundtrack helps me to revisit my childhood each & every time it seems that I listen to it! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx
