Friends at MyLot

I signed up for mylot, about a week ago, the first couple of days I really didnt log in but now I log in everyday. I enjoy reading the dicussions, and posting my own. I am a stay at home mom, and It lets me talk to others, get opinions and voice my own. I have asked a few people to be my friend, at first I thought it wasnt working but I see that some have allowed me to be there friend. Am I not talking about the right things, or am I that boring? I know that when commenting on discussion I try to be honest, am I being to harsh, or to opinionated? I just would like some feed back to make sure that I am doing this right. I have never done this before, My Space is the closes thing to talking to people but it is way different.
