Lack of manners or have the time changed?

I offer my seat to people if they need one. Some people still have good manners but others do not. I am a woman and I always see that men will let me out in traffic (women never do), men will help me get something in the car if I need help, men will open the doors for me going into a place to shop, etc.... I try to help anyone out if I see them needing help and I will let people out in front of me in traffic (man or woman). I was walking in the door to a clothing store the other day and I had the baby in the stroller and this woman saw me right behind her and she just let the door go and I was trying to get the door back open and get the big stroller in and this man said here I'll help you with that. I thought that is very nice because that woman saw me and just shut the door on me. So I find that men have more manners than women do. (To me anyways)
