Where do you prefer to live,in town or in the country?

I like small town life the best. I am only a few minutes away from a bigger city but not completely isolated like I would be in the country. I think it is the best of both worlds.

I am a city boy and I love living in a city because every thing is close at hand whenever and wherever we want them.

I have always loved big cities. I like to see activity. I like having lots of shops, schools, libraries, government buildings, etc. very close to me. I don't like to driving far to shop or run errands. I also like taking the train (subway) to museums and such. I see a variety of people and cultures, and hear different languages. Now that I have kids, I really don't want to live right in the heart of downtown. I prefer the outskirts or suburbs, but not too far from the mainstream. Of course, there is a lot more pollution and more crime. But that does not hinder me. I also like the politics that goes with getting those problems taken care of.
