circled protectively round a group of New Zealand swimmers to fend off an attack by a great white shark.Rob Howes and three other lifeguards were on a training swim 100 meres offshore at ocean beach near whangare when the dolphins raced in and hered the group together. According to the environment group Orca research dolphins attack sharks to protect themselves and their young.
The dolphins protected these people for 40 minutes untill they could swim to safety.

Its amazing how many stories have been in the news about animals saving people. They are getting us out of trouble left and right.
My dog will come and get me when the phone rings. It is amazing how smart they all really are.

Animals are just so much smarter then people realize. I love these stories because it speaks to the world. They are able to help and they do know the difference. I am so glad they were there and this story had a happy ending.
