the neck?

hahaha! That's a good one. Of course neck makes us turn our head to the left or to the right without moving our body. Imgagine yourself if you had not a neck. To make it easier, have you ever had a stiff neck? You can't turn your head to left or right so you have to turn your whole body and it's not very convenient, right? Neck also adds height for short people like me. hahah!!!

I believe the function is to help support our head and spinal column. It allows us to be able to move our bodies as well.

To provide a pivot point for your scull. Something about looking around might help you survive if somethings trying to eat you.
