I was thinking about getting one of those huge balls that people work out with. I really don't know much about them, it just looks interesting. Anyone used one of these? Are there are lot of different exercises you can do with it?

i just bought one and here are a few of exercises that i do with it. Basic Crunch for Beginners Using the Exercise Ball Hold your hands behind your head to support your neck and head but not to pull up. Do not interlace your fingers but hold your hands flat against each other behind your head. (The tendancy for most people is to pull up with the hands if the fingers are interlaced - don't do this!) Inhale and using your abs only, pull forward slowly so your head raises and your abs fully contract. You may find that the ball rolls slightly back as you do this. Hold for a few seconds and then reverse the movement to the starting position. Exhale as you lower back down. have fun and enjoy

my mom just picked one up at walmart for like 20 bucks and she was showing me some of the exercises that came with it and some she got off of the prevention website. the are very beneficial because they help you stretch too.

I love my exercise ball. I got it from my chiropractor several years ago when I hurt my back. I initially started doing the back exercises that he gave me to do on it, but then I bought a few exercise DVD's for workouts with the ball, and it's a lot of fun and also effective. I know that they have them at Target, and also on Ebay.

i have one. they are really good to use if you use it often. there are many different exercises you can do on them so it won't get boring fast. they have videos you can get these exercises off of. also look at www.sparkpeople.com i think that's the site. anyways it's really good and it's totally free. it helps with food tips and exercises and lots of stuff.

I have one, and like the tredmill, you use them in the beginning, and then you don't after awhile. I really did not see any improvement with it in diet or firming. They have instructions inside the box for exercising different parts of the body.

I love my exercise ball. I've had it for years, and it's wonderful. I use it in various pilates routines and stretching exercises. It was great for when I was in rehab after a serious accident, and I've kept up with it. There are so many things you can do with it, and it really makes for a fun and effective workout!

I love mine!! I got one that came with a work out plan with illistrations. When you buy one, look for one that comes with that. It's easy as punch and very low strain. I have a bad back and I can use mine with no problems. I got mine from walmart for $15.00.

Oooh yes! I love mine! there are so many exercises that can be done on it. Just sitting on it is supposedly good, as you must use core muscles (around waist and up back) to balance yourself! Sometimes I sit on mine at the computer desk rather than my chair. As the poster above said, get one that has the exercise chart in it. It makes exercising a bit more enjoyable! Hey, also gives my cat and dog something to stare at. I'm sure I must look like a beached whale on the thing! I'd love to be able to read their minds!
