My neice was swarmed

I am so upset right now my 20 year neice was swarmed last night will going to a friends house for a b-day party. there were 12 of them 6 boys 6 girls they threw her down kicked her numerous times in the face cut her with a broken bottle one slash on her neck that was so close to the ateri that it could have killed her. Out of the 12 of them 8 have been caught. The cops are confident about catcheing the other 4. I was just talking to my sister and she can hardly talk all she says over and over is omg they were kicking her in the face. So they are going to bring her home for a while to take care of her maybe take this semester of school they are not sure yet. But WHY WHY WHY i don't understand she did nothing to them the kicked the crap out of her then took her purse i just don't understand it.

Some people are just sick. I am so sorry this happened. I do not understand it and I can't tell you why but I guess that they are weak insecure people who feel the need to show power over other people to make them feel like stronger people. It really is just sick. I saw an episode of CSI where this happened and the people who got caught just said they did it because it was fun. I mean that is just disgusting. What has happened to our world when hurting others is fun. I hope that the people who did it get stuck in jail for a long long time and while they are there maybe they will get jumped and see what it feels like. I hope you neice heals up okay. I think it would be a good idea for her and her mom and maybe even you to go to therapy to help deal with this. It will be a hrad thing to get over but I know you all can do it. Good luck to you all. Thank you for your thoughts. I know my sister and her daughter will be seeing a councelor as for me i think i will just meet with my minister for coffee a few times he is such a great man he will let me rant and rave and then i will leave calm but thank you for your concern.

OMG! I am so sorry for her. I hope these kids are caught and thrown in jail. Is this a one time incident or has happened to other females where you live?

This happened up in sudbury she goes to the university there. She does not live in the best neighbour hood so i am not sure if this has happened before. I do understand that some of this gang is known to the police but still don't have all the info. I am trying to put together enough cash so i can go there for a few days right now the only contact we are having is phone and email. Its just sick that others think this is ok. I am still stunned
