Instead of buying cans of soup,I love making a big pot and freezing single serving sizes for later on;it saves loads of money and no preservatives/fillers. I just made split pea soup with spirulina, and veggies,so it's very good for us,ya know?I also like making a crock pot of pinto beans, and making frozen burritos with the leftovers.....Again no fillers/preservatives:) Happy day! I love homemade soup! I made some hamburger and macaroni soup last week but we ate it for two meals and then had nothing left to save-it was good!

I make homemade soup every week. There is no need to freeze individual servings because we have it all week long with our meals. Eating soup before your meal makes you less hungry too and therefore you will eat less at mealtime.

I do the same. I love soup and you can make lots of meals at once, all in one pot. I love any kind of veggie soup. I make split pea, lentil, bean...yummy and hearty especially good at this time of year. Not only do they taste better than canned soup but they're probably cheaper with the large amounts you can make with simple inexpensive ingredients.
