I think this is one of the best Stephen King I ever saw. I didn't even know for a while that it was a Stephen King movie until a friend told me. It is so different then his usual stuff.

I've known many people who did not know it was a Stephen King book first so you are not alone there. I agree I think this was one of his better movies. I did not read the book so can't say on that but the movie was fantastic. It kept me riveted and I wanted to see what all happened. I laughed, I cried and sometimes did it all over again with it. One very good movie and the actors in it were all top notch.

I did not know is was a Stephan King movie!! It is one of my favorite movie's and alway's make's me cry. My daughter love's it too.

If you enjoyed The Green Mile, I recommend The Shawshank Redemption, The Body, Rage, The Long Walk, Hearts In Atlantis and Everything's Eventual. Stephen King does have a lot of non-horror stuff, but a lot of it's hidden in his short stories and things like that.
