Why do defence people are making fighter planes?

my friend guided missiles are costlier than aeroplane, and firing requires lot of sytem to operate it is more complicated , if 100 aircraft comes you cant shoot 100 guided missiles, if you plan like that within guided missile hits the plane would have hit the target.if fighter planes come into scene than the planes cant move that easily as in case of guidsed missile, than guided missile can be targeted to more heavily weaponed plane or which has higher weapon systems, see tanks and war ships are used to defend the country when country attacks our main thing is to defend within the border, if they enter our area than if we attack through guided missile than no use you are killing your own people with them, and war doesnt take in field so if you operate guided missile you will loose all the buildings everything in that area. so that is a huge loss,

Every time you arenot going to hit your enemy with missiles. Only in case of war beyond controle will necessiate the need of misile. For small disputes and defence purpose you need to have fighter planes and tanks and war ships to protect the sea coasts. I am not from defence services. please ignore this if I am wrong. I just told you my opinion.

I am not convinced by your sugession.Missiles are mainly made to threaten a country with a nuclear aggresion.They have a projected trejectory.They are extremely costly and can be intercepted.While planes are cheaper than missiles,they can fly from an airbase and are convinient in a war.They can be used again and again.They are more easy to operate and hard to intercept.Tanks are used in invading countries.U cannot use missiles to invade a country!!!!!!!!!!.To keep our independence in waters ships are needed.
