What are the favorite foods in India?

firstly i will say we have everything you mentioned like Mc D, pizza hut... etc.But Indian food is fabulous... In every region of India there are differnt varity.There "aalo paratha , gobi paratha, paneer paratha, lassi, pakora curry, raita, litti , South Indian disses like idili, dosa, uttpam, n its endless........ there is pav bhaji,vada pao, dahi puri,samosa, jilebi, kachouri..... now if you would hav asked for the receipe than it would hav been smart.

we have all these restraunts in India Mc donalds, pizza hut,KFC, burger king etc.all these restraunts have menus which have been modified according to indian taste. but other than that indian food is very diverse with regional variations. its more than just about the curry.

yes i have american restaurants like McDonald's', Burger King, Pizza Hut. in indian food i like matar paneer with butter naan .

In India favorite foods are south Indian foods like masala dosa, idli uttapam. Yes we have Mcdonalds, burger king and Pizza hut but not heard of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

In Mumbai its Vada-Pao,In Kolkatta its Gol-Gappa,In Delhi and Punjab its Makke di Roti and Sarsson da Saag,In Chennai its Masala Dosa and Idli.And thier are lots of things which is INDIAN discovered food and good in taste.
