my parents are my best friends, they are always there for me, always help me, in fact they have all the qualities a true friend has, you just don't realise it when you are younger and living at home.

Parents, definitely. No matter how long you live, you can only have one mother and a father. Nobody could ever replaced that. Friends, they come and go. U can always replace a friend for another as you like, but not your parents.
