Sometimes bad behavior in dogs is caused by boredom and lack of exercise. I took my dog billy to the beach this morning. After spending time sniffing around and running, a group of ducks about 20 yards out were swimming in 40% ocean water. Billy noticed them and jumped in. Twenty minutes later, after swimming after the ducks for the full length of the beach, the ducks took off and Billy came ashore. Once he was home, he is pacing around looking to go, go and go. I tried to tire him out, but to no avail. Is your dog overactive? I am thinking now about getting a back pack for walks that will help him use up his energy
