Pinoy JUNK FOOD: SWEET CORN

I wanna meet people who also like taking in junk food. I think Regal's Sweet Corn has got something in it that keeps my craving up and crazy.:) Or it's just my delusional explanation for my very childish fondness of it. Well who can blame me? Piso lang pero super sarap!

Nope not childish at all my friend, to tell you the truth im currently munching on a pack =), how odd huh. Not only that, i have a boy bayang on the side in case i run out of sweet corn hehehehe. Since im always busy online i find it hard to eat my meal in a regular basis thats why i have this junk food to ease my hunger.

whoa, how generous of you! either you really understand craving and all that, or addiction just loves company, haha! thanks a lot, but my blood will have sweet corn sooner if i just run to the farther grocery tomorrow. if there's none in there, you'll hear me scream! :)

Oh a fellow sweet corn junkie! On the days I permit myself to eat junk foods I can eat up to 5 small bags a day. It's so delicious!

i am SO not alone! thanks for making me feel that, haha! i'm eating one right now. we can start a regal sweet corn fans' club, i think. but let's not do that unless regal promise to send us a big bag of sweet corn packs each day :)

yeah tasted that myself years ago and made be addicted to it for sometime. i eat that usually at movie houses. But then as i grew older my taste has changed. I saw different versions of it after a while but that brand started it all in here I believe.

yeah this is the brand that started it all. i thought the bigger bag of the same name was from the same company. I was wrong. That's why the bigger bag tasted different. There are other round sweet corns, too, but they're not as magical :)

well beware of those junkfoods...there were victims of some alienated desease due to junkfood,most specially the one which contains high level of msg or vetsin that in most cases affects the gall bladder and the vile...so if i were you look for some substitute that is more nutritious and less risk...

I do believe in you neoclassical.. though I am not a junkie addict. I just love that before.. if I crave for chips or trash foods..thats what I call them..i just cook my homemade popcorn or that eat a steamed veges or fresh fruits..its good and more nutritious. Tks for reminding us.

i'm in the same league as you Arlene.. =) This house ALWAYS has that yummy junkfood in stock. All of us here loves this stuff. =) Just keep in mind that too much of anything is harmful. =)

that is so true. if this sweet corn is actually healthy, i won't even mind about the extra calories :D but it's not healthy, so let's enjoy a limited intake :D

I do not know about pinoy junk food, but I like junk food in general. I eat them in moderation because they aren't healthy.

I love sweet corn junk food, i also crave it from time to time.We pinoys really love this kinda of stuff,it may be wierd for others but we love it, its the sariling atin concept in so proud of.

I love that food. It got me craving for it once that I had to control myself. I even skipped meals for it. Although I currently stopped eating junk food, I'm sure the moment I get a hold of that delicious junk food that my insanity will start all over again. :)

I love sweet corn, but I had a bad experience with it. Around 2 months ago me and my brothers were having a drinking session, and one of them brought sweet corn and boy bawang as pulutan. I immediately devoured the sweet corn, practically eating the whole bag! The next day I woke up and felt a sharp,steady pain on my legs. I could'nt walk properly and had pain on my joints. It turned out that I had a buildup of uric acid in my body from consuming all that msg contained in the sweetcorn. Believe me, I don't want to experience it again.

hey girl, when I was still in the Philippines I used to pop that out in my mouth most often..esp. boring days at work or in school. I still remember those days...hahah! Nice to see back the picture of Regal's sweet corn.. we used to stock a lot of packs of it in the house...favorite of all the family while watching tv, reading something or chatting too..heheh!
