I'm sure many of you have heard of the genre of books classified as Chick Lit. Well, those are my favorite type of books to read, and I was wondering if anyone has read one that has had a lasting impression in their mind. It doesn't have to be on that changed your life or anything, just one that you thought was REALLY REALLY good? All responses are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I like reading chick lit, but haven't read many. I don't know which books you've already read, or what sub-genre of chick lit you're interested in but here's what I've read:
• By Sophie Kinsella: -Shopaholic series -Can You Keep A Secret? -Remember Me?
• The Next Big Thing by Johanna(?)
• By Pamela Ribon: -Why Girls Are Weird - Why Moms Are Weird
• The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot
• Bare Necessity by Carole Matthews
• Bet Me by Jennifer Cruise
• Conversations with a Fat Girl by ?
• Corpse Pose by Diana Killian
So that's what I've read. I think I would say Remember Me? was my favorite. I didn't really like Bare Necessity because of the multiple points of view in the book and because I personally found the storyline to move very slowly.
And a few notes on the books: Corpse Pose is a mystery chick lit; The Boy Next Door is an epistolary (the entire book is made up of emails); Conversations with a Fat Girl, The Next Big Thing and Bet Me all have overweight female leads, only in the last book, she isn't trying to lose weight while the others want to.
Other than that, I don't want to tell too much info in case you're like me and don't want to know anything about a book before reading it--I don't even like to read the back or inside flap of the book to find out what it's about :P
