How to get any relationship work smoothly?

Yes understanding is one key to have a smooth relationship but you you also need a trust and compatibility.Trust is the secondary key to any relationship after LOVE.

for me, to get a relationship work smoothly, there should be love, understanding, trust, compromise and good communication. both should always take the effort to make the relationship better and never take each other for granted. Always provide TLC (Tender, Love and Care) :D

Communication and honesty are very important in keeping any relationship strong and meaningful!! They do say that opposites attract and i don't know if it is true but it does make sense to me! I do not think that there is need to see your significant other on a daily basis unless of course you two are married then it is a different story!!!

I believe in three basic elements for a relationship to work smoothly these are love, respect and honesty. In addition, I think that it is also necessary to meet and feel the touch of the person everyday because with these little things, it shows affection and it shows love in a simple manner. It's possible that two different people of opposite interests be best of friends as long as they respect each other's point of view and give space for friendship to grow. Me and my boyfriend don't really agree on all things but we do have respect in each opinion that we express that is why there are less fights in our relationship.

Well yes it is possible that two different people with different interest can be best of couples and best of friends, cause the key of having good and smooth relationship is RESPECT, although the basic key is LOVE but the most important is you know how to respect the others(in decision, rights and opinions)and well it is good to that both of you have good communication.

aside og showing love and care to each other is the faithfullness and honesty....well! for me that's really the important ..i dont care what was his past as long as he do really love me and his faithful its fine with me...aside of that an open communication...if ever they encoutered a problem they should take all about it ..dont make it up to next day...

Hi Kalpan, I know I am giving very late respond. To get a smooth relationship is undersstanding each other and they must know what other likes and dislikes.... I beleive that to have smooth relationship you must be honest and you must trust your partner, there should be good communication between each other even you are far away from your partner... I will tell you abt myself... Chintan is totally opposite than me... but we are together because we know each other and we love each other... we know each and everythings of our past... but it is must that we understand each other and we care for each other and always we think how other will be happy.... touch wood for our relationship.....
