The only 'evidence' christians have is the bible, which was written thousands of years ago and contradicts itself. I enjoy discussing religion with religious people but sooner or later i always hit the brick wall, 'god just wanted it that way'. It frustrates me because christians can't explain everything and 'god just wanted it that way' is NOT an answer.

I totally agree with you. Christians have no ability to explain god in any reasonable way, and it is very frustrating trying to have a discussion of religion with them since they just say stuff like "god just wanted it that way" or "you are going to hell for not believing". That is the problem with religious people, they think they are right and everyone else is wrong, and they get angry when anybody questions them.

well..at first i thought LORD doesnt exist...and it is jus a blind belief...but once an incident happened with me.. when i was in tenth class..i had ma social unit test...i wasnt prepared..i did all ma exams well..but i dint study due to ma over confidence...there was a rumour that the test will be postponed because of some bandh...so i dint really study...but then on the day of the test i jus prayed sayin if there is no test today i wil defineatly start beliving you through out ma life...and to ma surprise test was postponed...i was really very very happy...from then on i started believing tht LORD is there...and HE is always with me:)

This is ridiculous. If there was a rumour that the test would be postponed, then there is a good chance that it would be postponed. Praying isn't going to change whether or not the test will happen on that day. I'm 100% sure that praying had nothing to do with the postponement of the test. If you prayed that god would postpone all your tests, it wouldn't happen. The teacher had probably already decided to postpone the test before you prayed.

I agree with you, there is no relation between praying and postponed tests.

i m athiest and i strongly believe gods do not exist...wats the point in sitting in front of someone and praying....why the hell cant the person praying do that thing himself he is asking from "GOD"....in short arent we in control of our destiny`s...why should we sit in front of someone who we dont know even exists??
