My son started to electrocute himself when he was just 18 months old. Now he's 11 and hasn't stopped since then and doing it 9 more times that Im aware off. The first time Im aware he electrocuted himself was when he came out of his sisters room smelling like burnt hair. I went in to see what he'd burnt. I found the scissors from his sisters school bag, he'd cut the cord on her Touch-Lamp. I took him to the hospital, he was checked out ok. So we went home and I made sure no more scissors where in the house. But somehow he was able to sniff hidden ones out, and cut 3 more touch lamps..... The story of his electrocuting continues
