Should i sell my new babies name?

We're soon to be having our third child and that now means my wife will have to give up her full time job.So money will be tight and i've been thinking of auctioning off to the highest bidder the opportunity to name the baby when it's born.
There are many strange things put up for auction on various sites,do you think it will be ethical if i do this?

I am a new mom and I think that this idea is fun and fabulous!! I think it's ethical and what a fun story to tell your child. My one piece of advice may be to make up a list of names to let the winner chose from so you don't end up with a boy named Sue.

Well we had a little girl and my eldest and youngest chose a name,so my idea went out of the window.I've learnt not to mess with the women in my house!!!!!!!!!!
