You back is one of the most important parts of your body. In fact, it supports your whole body. The unfortunate thing is that if you hurt it badly once, it can affect you for a very long time. It's important to take care of your back since you only get one. I recently hurt my back working out. I am looking for a good way to protect my back from future injury. Any suggestions?

Proper body mechanics calls for it. In other words, the general idea is lifting and or carrying objects on the right procedure. Never bend your back when lifting objects, but instead bend your knees and position your legs then proceed with good body posture.

I never used to suffer much back pain until I had my last two children . I had an epidural with both of them and have had back pain ever since . I noticed after I had my daughter I had a lot of pain in my back but figured it would go away eventually but when I had my next one I noticed the pain was worse and much more frequent . I think the epidural's are what caused it but don't know for sure . Not that I would have went back and changed things as I had extremely long and hard labour with my other children . Even though it bothers me now , I know there are people out there who suffer much worse then myself .
