I remember watching the mini-series on tv many years ago. It was a wonderful story. I had the book too intending to read it but never did.

It is true that love conquers all... But we can never escape the wrath of truth. The book shows that we must be ready to suffer consequences of all our actions. What belongs to God must be returned to Him. (Dane)
It also speaks of ultimate sacrifice.

I've read the book and also watched the movie. I like the story very much Maybe I read the book at first, so I prefer the book to the movie although I like the movie too.

A love forbidden by the rules of the Catholic Church, a desperate struggle, agony and ecstasy, for a priest. Bird flying spin, but her flight is crushed by a spine that hurts their wings.
A great movie, every time I see him live like all the moods of the two protagonists: Ralph and Maggie. Their story will never be old, it will be repeated endlessly. And the book is exceptional, I read it two times now.
