Hi. I am looking for a quote from the bible that is inspirational or motivational. Can anyone give me anyh examples? Thanks

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Even as an atheist I recognize that some of the metaphors encased in the bible are wonderful motivational techniques.

Thankyou very much. Do you have any idea of the book or no for this? Just to be clear I did not mean to discriminate by just asking for Bible quotes, I am interest in any motivational or inspirational quotes from any religious books. Thanks

The quote is from St. Francis of Assisi ... not technically contained in the bible. Another for you that is bible based, from John 3:18. "Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action."

What Bible? An inspirational quote that supports all religions is, "Treat all well as the personification of God. You will sure be the intimate person of God!" Thanks.
