by saying that a man shouldnt let his wife work you are stating that men are superior to women and thats a very backward attitude.

Its too clear i feel!!
ofcourse woman has a right to take her own dicision!!...if husband is jobless, its her duty to manange family ,to earn for family....because its true that "one wheel cannot balance a buggy!!"
Even if husband is having job, and wife wants work and earn money....she should!!

i agree with that but dont u think it can hurt man's ego that he is not able to earn while his wife is earning?

Why not? This isn't the Dark Ages, there are several families that have a woking wife and stay-at-home husband. And even more where both people work. What's wrong with that?

Why not?
It's the answer from the people who think of good & bad. I can understand the point u've kept in the descussion, there r many men who behave like that (It's mostly their ego behind the name of custom). But they should realize those custom or people surrounded by u will never feed u, u have only search out for that.
Let wife work..!
