Did you prefer the first movie or the second?
I think i prefer the first one, but i liked the artistic style in the second one
Any thoughts?

As far as plot and storyline, I preferred the first one. It brought the age old man vs machine ideal into a new light and presented it with new ideals. It tackled the big questions 'what is life?' 'what is humanity?' and really laid them out beautifully. The second one... it was beautiful, but it didn't have the deep and layered philosophy I would have expected. It delved somewhat into 'what is reality?' but that was all.
