Setting up Company in UK to gain tax break?

Hey has anyone done this or know anything about this. I was told that when working in the UK if your from Australia or New Zealand or who ever, you can set up a company and pay yourself minimum wage and then at the end of tyour contract you pay the rest in dividends and you wont pay near as much tax. Is this true? Does anyone know how to do it?
