For people who listen to music, their lives can often be defined by a particular decade of music. For me, I can tell you almost all the defining moment of my teenage years according to the popular music of the seventies. The love songs of the seventies recall my first love, my proms, my college years. The first R rated movie I ever saw was Saturday Night Fever.

By the 80's, love it. That's when I really started getting into music, love, crushes, oh man, it brings me back.

I never was one to act my age. I prefer the older music. Though I'm only 24, a lot of the defining moments of my life are remembered by music of the Big Band era, the 30s and 40s. Also, folk music from around the world, of all decades.

Well I listen to music from the 60's, 70's and 80's mostly. Most of the music I would say defines me would have to be from the early to mid 80's since those were my teenage years. I listen to mostly country especially then but with a few exceptions like Reo, Billy Joel, J. Giels etc. So yeah I guess the early 80's for me.

My music addiction started off with grunge and punk, but shortly afterwards more of the alternative/brit rock like Oasis, the verve. That's were it all started for me. You know a few songs, you look some more up and there's the addiction, and so this was the start for a lot of music that I listened after those..
