Johnny Depp's weird decorating taste

From TMZ: Johnny Depp's decorating tastes are "From Hell."
TMZ has learned that the Oscar-nominated actor's Hollywood Hills living room features a gruesome electric chair -- with a stuffed mannequin sitting in it, perhaps like the one in this image. Talk about a "Dead Man's Chest!"
A source tells TMZ that Johnny adorned the dummy with a knit skullcap, the latest in capital punishment chic!
Sounds like "21 Jump Street" is no longer the scariest thing Depp has done.

Personally, since I collect Mexican Day Of The Dead Art and skeletons (no not the ones in your closet!) I do not find Johnny Depp's home decorating all that strange.

I can't say that I find his decorating taste strange. I collect anything that has to do with horror or halloween. Some are taken back when they come into my apartment. Others think it's really cool.

And I thought it was wierd when Shrek got me an 18" talking Captain Jack for Christmas, ha-ha much as I love him you have to admit his sense of fun is a little wild sometimes, bless him.
The mannequin isn't scary, it's his home he should be allowed what he wants in there. lol

There are still moments when Johnny Depp finds it hard to fully comprehend ... It's more to do with a spiritual journey, in a weird way

I think its hilarious! Depp has always poked fun a little at the Hollywood people for being too staid. And really, since he doesn't actually LIVE in the house, I suspect its all for show. Other people collect weird things as well. David arquette bought the witness chair from the pasadena courthouse, and drags it around to parties with him. That is more weird.
