Bridal showers-- lingerie or cookware?

Cookware was the theme for my bridal shower. I was just wondering if any of you had bridal showers with lingerie as the theme? I don't like wearing sexy underwear so I guess it's no loss for me. How did you bridal shower go? Who hosted it? My aunt and cousin hosted it for me. It was a bit awkward because I didn't know most of the guests. But all in all, it went ok.
