Cars and trucks

My son is 6'7" and just finished drivers ed. I want to get him a vehicle for his 17th birthday this March, but I don't know what his first vehicle should be. A car or truck? I can't ask him for it will be a surprise. I will also need something that is automatic and big enough for his height.

wow he is a tall one! I would think at that height it would have to be a larger car or a truck really. it depends on how well of a driver he is. can he handle a truck? or is he better with a smaller vehicle. if he can handle a larger vehicle it is kinda better to go with that because if there was ever an accident a larger car would be safer.
