how old were you when you bought your first home?

we were married 5 years before we built our home. it seems these days, newly married couples or singles are able to buy huge expensive homes before they are even marrried.

I bought a townhouse in Florida at the age of 26. I live in New York City though but it's one hell of an investment. Who knows? When I eventually retire, I would like to settle there.

my parents bought a condo in florida 10 years ago, and sold it for 500,000 more thant they paid for it. I bet you will be glad you bought that townhome in the years to come

I was 26 when I bought my home. I love it :) Still do, I think it is a great investment and in the long run, it's much cheaper than renting. My children now have a backyard to play in and this is something that is very important to me. I love being a home owner, despite all the hurdles that come with it.

it really is a good investment.. we made quite a bit when we sold that house. we lived there 8 years and tripled our money!
