the star stands for your reputation here in mylot. that is your reputation as a user. below 100 points does not have those star. but since you already reach 100 points, that is why you have that star. post more and you will soon have a greater star reputation

It's a sort of rating system that Mylot started only a few weeks ago. I can't remember how they determine the number. I believe it's just by how people rate your discussions and comments. Don't worry to much about the low number though. Some people rate badly for the fun of it, others just don't share your opinion. I wouldn't take it to heart.

you have already reached your 100 points that is why you got a star now... it is like some ways of being popular i think... the more you get a higher star the more people are looking into your profile... but i am not sure myself...

If it's in your alerts, you may want to check that. It's like a rating for users with over 100 posts and the number depends on how the user has posted, ie. the quality, length, contribution of their posts. The average will give a number and it sort of represents a user's ranking or state. 10 is seen as 'good', i guess, rating, while a number which is.. say, 1 would be vice versa.
