i think it is a good place , as i cannot be sure of it as i have never visited it, i am trying to visit it after 5yrs .......... ;-)

New York is amazing! I am Australian and have been 14 times. The food, the atmosphere... everything. Most times I would go and just wonder the streets for hours. I saw a few shows on Broadway. In my experience the best way to see shows is to line up at the tickets counter in times square. There you can pick tickets up last minute for less than $50.00 for all of the good shows! I don't rate the shopping in New York, its not at all what I expected, I had more fun in Vegas and LA but still, there are alot of designer stores on Maddison Avenue and Maceys etc are not bad. In terms of hotels, you don't spend too much time in your room so don't waste all your money on a fancy hotel!
