Wormers aren't that expensive. I worked in an animal hospital and have volunteered with many rescues and have never heard of a home-made remedy either. I'd go with what works. Pets are unfortunately expensive sometimes. But pets are a choice, no one is forced to have them.

I worked in a vets office for many years. i have never heard of anyhome made solution for deworming dogs or cats. If someone does recommend one i would think twice about using it, it could be very dangerouse.

Garlic helps keep them away after you get rid of them, but I have never gotten a wormer that doesn't work. Buy the Hartz brand liquid wormer. It's really good. I wouldn't try something homemade to get rid of them. Wormer isn't that expensive & honestly, if you can't afford simple wormer maybe you should consider getting rid of the puppy/dog because wormer is a necessity.

I would be very very very careful with the Hartz products. I've heard more about flea and tick products they sell killing pets, but I'd really look into what ingredients are in their wormer before you use it. Their products tend to be poorly researched and more harmful than the more expensive stuff.

I've never had any problem with it & I've used it for a lot of dogs. Maybe some dogs are allergic to it. But it's fine.

Put a couple of drops of Vanilla Extract in a little piece of lite bread and roll it into a ball, then feed it to your dog, you can do this from time to time to keep the worms killed out. DO NOT use immitation vanilla extract, make sure it is the real vanillia extract.

I tried this just now and hope it works. My dog showed he has worms, u know the rub carpet :(. So I hope the bread and real vanilla extract work. I won't buy the imitation vanilla very bad for health. how long do I have to wait? do I need to do this again today?

i dont know of any home made deworming recipe to deworm your dog. i have a puppy terrier and i brought him to the vet to have a dose of that deworming med. i think you should just bring your dog to the vet just to be safe and to be sure that your dog is properly dewormed. it is not that expensive.

I've never heard of any either, but I would be interested in knowing how cclay34's vanilla works. If you try it, let us know what the results are.
