where can i submit my lyrics to be produced into songs?

i have a number of songs that i have written but i do not know where to go to submit them. anyone out there have any ideas on where to do this?

well, to get a song produced is a long process. it will take a lot of leg work on your part. you might be able to find some contests that promote song writters but thats normally rare. first you have to find someone to sing it, or do it yourself. if you have the music and the instruments to make the background music then make a demo of your song and present it to several different type of artist. to start off, independent ones are the best to approach, depending on what type of song it is. or you can take a chance and send them into big name lables. who knows. but you're going to have to do A LOT more work to get it produced. you also have to remember royalties. you want to get paid for your song and not ripped off.
