India has such diversity across all its states that it has been truly called a sub-continent. There is hardly any other country in the world that offers a mix of beaches, mountains, plains and so many religions, lifestyles, languages, etc. under one country. We keep listing cities outside India as our favourites. Lets take a look at our own country and think of the city that we like the best. I have spent my childhood traveling across the country (thanks to my Dad's transferrable job) and my favourite place that I would like to go again and again in Gangtok in Sikkim. I love the tranquility that this place brings peace and calmness to mind. Its people are very friendly and do not bother tourists at all. The best part about Gangtok is the presence of so many reputed monastries around it and they give you a completely different perspective on life.
